A Day in the Life of a GraceWay Camper
A day at GraceWay Church Summer Camp could begin with campers arriving full of excitement and enjoying breakfast together with friends. It’s a great way to start the morning—sharing laughs, eating favorite cereals, and getting ready for the day ahead. After breakfast, campers might head outside for huddle time, where they participate in fun group games, connect with their counselor, and get to know new kids in their group.
From there, the day could move into sports time, where campers take part in high-energy activities like kickball or other team games. Friendly competition, teamwork, and big moments—like scoring a winning run—make this a highlight of the day. After working up some energy, campers would enjoy a snack break before transitioning into lunch and some time to relax.
In the afternoon, campers could dive into creative activities like arts and crafts, such as painting their own picture frames or working on themed projects for the week. The day might also include team-building exercises that help campers form new friendships and strengthen existing ones. By the end of the day, campers leave with great memories, new friends, and excitement for all the fun that the next day could bring.
